Large tea bowl glazed with my Grønsund glaze, which is a fully glossy celadon glaze. When put on a grogged black clay, it comes out this beautiful grey-blue colour and lets the irregularity from the clay shine through.
The tea bowl comes with a trimmed foot. Perfect for matcha tea. But also nice for coffee. The bowl has soft marks from the throwing process which is highlighted by the glaze.
Irregularities and random imperfections are welcomed and are a reminder that ceramic is made from organic materials and the touch from the makers hand.
Dishwasher safe.
